Step 1 - Communication

Call Us for an Appointment

Making an appointment is easy. Call our office or if you prefer, fill out the contact form below and we will follow your instructions to contact you back. If you call, feel free to ask for attorney Frank Coxwell, attorney Rachel Coxwell, or if we happen to be in court or with someone, ask for our paralegal, Joanie. We will set a time that is convenient for you. If you prefer to speak with one of us over the phone first and we are not available immediately, you can choose to leave a voicemail or speak to Joanie and let her know that you would like for an attorney to return your call. We make it a practice to return ALL our calls daily. We don’t even mind calling you after hours if it’s easier for you to talk with us then. We will work with you in any way possible. We know you have a lot on your mind – and we want to help you feel better about things as soon as possible.

At your appointment, you will meet with attorney Frank Coxwell or attorney Rachel Coxwell. We will listen to your concerns and answer all your questions. We will gather from you the information necessary to understand your situation, including your goals, assets, debts, income and expenses. We will analyze your situation and tell you about your options. You will discover how bankruptcy works, what it will and will not do, what needs to be done to file, and what it costs. There is no obligation. You are free to review your options, get your questions answered and leave, with no strings attached. Our goal is to give you the information you need to decide what is best for you. Bankruptcy is affordable for anyone. We want to help you file and get your fresh start as soon as possible.

If you make the decision to go forward, we can do the initial interview while you are in the office or we will schedule a follow up date. It can be immediate, to stop a garnishment or foreclosure, or a later on, at your convenience. We will then discuss in detail any additional paperwork we need in order to have everything ready to get your case filed.

Once the initial interview with attorney Frank Coxwell and/or attorney Rachel Coxwell, is completed, we will have your bankruptcy paperwork ready for your signature within a couple of days, unless your case is urgent and needs immediate preparation.

We have nothing but praise for the Coxwell Attorneys! They were a comfort in a time of stress. They explained our options and once we decided our path, they guided us through each step (explaining and re-assuring us along the way). We highly recommend Coxwell Attorneys! Thad & Janet Brumfield
