Hope for Homeowners Program
In October 2008, HUD launched its Hope for Homeowners Program which enables qualified borrowers to refinance into an FHA insured, 30-year, fixed rate mortgage. Many lenders refuse to disclose this option to borrowers in an effort to force them into foreclosure.
